In his attempts to realize his dream, he fails to realize the terrible consequences of his choices. This title was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize in 2013 and for the Bailey’s Women’s Prize for Fiction in 2014. It was also a finalist for the National Book Award for Fiction.
